THE BURNING ISLAND

The project’s author Predrag Popare named The Burning Island that specific “island in flames as a metaphor of our destiny, passing, disappearing and creating. It sublimates and helps us to understand our small passages, the existences and the delusions we live in. The survival and adaptability of life-style types always escapes the raw exterior that is often violently imposed. Art and artistic process with the same glow and strength win the obstacles and create a new reality that exists at the level of signs and symbols”. Predrag Popara.
